We donate our items to St. Joseph's Villa for the families seeking shelter and aid there.
St. Joseph's Villa is a place for children with special needs, with schools, programs and camps that help them learn, grow and thrive. They are a place of refuge and renewal for women and children in crisis and a place of independence for adults living with disabilities. St. Joseph's Villa is many things to the more than 600 people they serve each day.
St. Joseph’s Villa receives significant assistance from foundations, corporations and individuals, as well as from various localities and school systems that pay for services the Villa provides. Philanthropy
We periodically collect cans of food and cash donations for the Central Virginai Food Bank/Feedmore. FeedMore is the core hunger-relief organization for Central Virginia made up of the Central Virginia Food Bank, Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia and the Community Kitchen. Working together to efficiently and effectively fight hunger to enhance lives in our community, the FeedMore programs provide hunger relief to our region’s most vulnerable populations, particularly children, families and seniors to. We take part in Take Cancer Down in Carytown hosted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where we donate a percentage of our sales to the cause. The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. We take part in the Cookies for Kids' Cancer Bake Sale by donating a percentage of our proceeds to the cause. Cookies for Kids' Cancer was founded by a mom inspired by her son's fight against cancer. Through the concept of local bake sales, Cookies for Kids' Cancer will provide the inspiration and support for people like us to help our children win their fight against cancer.
